Marine Rescue Jervis Bay Rescue Vessels are consistently maintained to a high level of safety and state of readiness.  Above the Colin Woods, JB40 is shown assisting and undertaking rescues.  The last photograph shows JB40 being serviced and anti-fouled at HMAS Creswell Naval Base.

The picture above shows Wayne WalkerII JB20 the rapid response vessel used for in shore and closed waters emergency work.

Jervis Bay is the deepest natural harbor in the Southern Hemisphere and often plays host to some magnificent visiting ships. With the location of HMAS Creswell on the Southern Shores visiting ships from Navies around the world can frequently be seen.
